| Sunsky (new) is a sun and sky procedural for use with texture environment. It features rayleigh scattering, aerosol attenuation, ozone attenuation, mixed gasses, water vapor absorption and more. All kinds of stuff that sounds terribly impressive and makes things pretty. Maybe I'll have to look some of them up (not a clue :-). |

| VeggiPaint (new) is designed to spray large numbers of objects over geometry. You can send the results out as clones, nulls, points, kray custom objects or quads. It's compatible with both HDInstance or Kray. Demo available for download.

 The landscape generator Terragen has been updated to version 2.0 Beta. All manner of newness, from features like Painted Shader, which allows you to paint masks or colours in the previews, to improved multi-threading, better clouds, rocks, UI improvements and more. | Next Limit has a couple of updates. First up, they've released a Lightwave 9.5 compatible integration plug-in for their RealFlow fluid simulator. They've also added another asset sharing site to the list for Maxwell Render users. Now you can share skies along with all the pretty textures... |

| I'll be the first to admit, I'm a rank novice when it comes to camera technology. Still, the new RED cameras sound terrific. And that's some slick marketing. Not to mention the word "modular", which is both a way for consumers to pick exactly what they want, and to create sustainable profits for the company making all the pretty bits. As my wife will shortly tell me, I don't need one. But... |

| Okino has updated their CATIA v4 and v5 importers for most major packages (including Lightwave). CATIA being "Computer Aided Three Dimensional Interactive Application" by Dassault Systemes which is used to, well, design stuff in (originally jet fighters). Just in case you wanted to know... |

| Vue 7.0 is now shipping. Apparently they've worked on better integrating the app with other packages in the advanced version, while all have upgraded Ecosystems, clouds, radiosity, water and much more. It's a love/hate relationship sometimes working in Vue (then again, I could say that about every package), but I wouldn't be without it... |
